Based on the Shakespeare play of similar name, Mac and Beth follows the lives of a house of film students at Dunsinane college, who are collaborating on their own film. While some students are content to keep the jobs their director assigns them, others hunger for more. As ambition spirals out of hand, the students must decide how far the bonds of friendship stretch, and what they are willing to sacrifice for prestige.

On an autumn afternoon, in an empty lot outside the city, seven girls meet up to do a play. School uniform tartan transforms in this American urban wasteland. The girls are witches, ghosts, and kings. They hurl headlong into the unchecked passions of Macbeth—in Shakespeare’s original text—as the line between real life and blood fantasy quickly blurs. Through prophecies and smartphones, unexpected resonances emerge from Shakespeare’s dark nightmare of ambition gone awry. These young women discover what's done cannot be undone.

Loosely based on William Shakespeare's tragedy of Macbeth, Mac N Beth follows Mac and Beth, the old blood of the Blues music scene, as they circumnavigate the grungy backstage environment and interact with the new wave of musicians that seeks to stamp them out for good. First is a swingin' rendition of "The House That Jack Built" boasting imaginative animation in which the writing of a word turns into its meaning (such as "cow" turning into a cow, and so on). Second and longer is "Old McDonald Had a Band", where instrument sounds replace the traditional barnyard noises. With the exception of his displeased wife, Old Mac's family all jams on musical instruments, even the pets.
